Our Process
Floor Plan Design
We begin with the initial meeting, either in person or by video conference, in order to get acquainted with our clients and learn their likes and dislikes for their new dream home. We can always meet at our office but are more than happy to meet at a more convenient location for our clients. At this time we will also go over the contract and answer any questions regarding processes, services, and payments, so there is complete transparency from start to finish. Upon conclusion of the meeting the contract will be signed, the initial payment will be due, and the design process will begin. During this time we will work with you to get the floor plan you are dreaming of with a perfect balance of form and function!
Exterior Elevation Design
After the floor plans have been approved, we will begin the design of the front elevation. The initial front elevation will be emailed for review and comments. Upon receiving any comments and/or changes to the front elevation, the elevation will be revised and emailed for final review. Once the front elevation is approved, we will complete the remaining elevations of the home and email for review and approval.
Check Set
Upon approval of the exterior elevations, the check set phase will begin. The check set is a completed set of construction drawings allowing for a final review of the detail drawings. This review allows for minor modifications such as movement in electrical fixtures and any additional notes that may be required. At this time any renderings included in your package will be completed.
Finals
Once the check set has been approved and any requested minor modifications completed, the final plans will be prepared and emailed. If your package includes the 3D video it will be created and completed at this time. After receipt of your final plans, you will be ready to watch your dreams become reality!
